I came here specifically because of a promo I received in the mail advertising 2 bowls for $16. Since it was my first time, I asked the employee which bowls qualified, and he told me to order two regular bowls. I ordered one Spicy Teriyaki Chicken bowl and one Chicken Breast Teriyaki bowl. When it came time to pay, the total showed $25.14 instead of $16. I asked why, and was told that was simply the amount the system produced from the promo code they entered. I paid because I was hungry, but once I looked at the receipt, it actually listed the “2 Bowls for $16” promotion while only deducting $3.49 from the order. That was very disappointing, especially because the promotion was the only reason I decided to try Teriyaki Madness in the first place. The employees were friendly, and the food was solid, but nothing particularly special. The dine-in atmosphere also felt quite sad and awkward, so I was glad I had ordered it to go. Unfortunately, based on the pricing issue and how it was handled, this was my first and most likely my last visit.

I wish I came on here to talk about the food but that’s the least of my concerns. This is by far the MOST disgusting disrespectful restaurant ever. They treat their employees like shit. They talk to them any kind of way and don’t care who hears it. The managers give bully vibes and I witness this as a customer. Now far as the food it’s not even WORTH the hype.I believe it’s better places in Champaign to visit. And this place will be shut down in no time. Do not buy here !!

I ordered the orange chicken and teriyaki noodles which was tasty however, the noodles were overcooked. I want to mention my experience in seeing what appeared to be a hostile work environment between management and employees. Very unprofessional to hear “this is my business” (which is true) but that doesn’t make it appropriate to speak to employees disrespectfully or in a demeaning manner, especially in front of customers. I understand that every workplace has its challenges, but the way employees are treated can have a noticeable impact on the overall customer experience. I hope management takes that into consideration moving forward.
